Ranunculus alismaefolius (little frog), Plantainleaf Buttercup, growing near the shore of Summit Lake, 10,400 feet, above Steamboat Springs, Colorado. A sparsely leed buttercup common in a meadow near the Western lake shore. Impression is mainly of flowers and stems. Height 9 inches, stems hollow, stem leaves at nodes. Leaves are 90 mm long, 26 mm wide. Flowers in threes from nodes, flower width 16 mm., petals 5 mm long, 5-6 petals, flowers look ragged. | |||||
