Prairie Rocket, Erysimum asperum, growing on grasslands south of Bonnie Lake State Park, 3,800 Feet, June 9, 2007. Siliques are especially long and near right angles to stem. Plant height is 34 cm., leaves basal and stem. stem alternate, stem leaves 47 mm long, 8 mm. wide. Flower width is 14 mm, length 12 mm, about 30 in inflorescence, siliques 82 mm. long, width 2.5 x 1.5 mm, flattened and ridged. |
