Stenoloba means slender lobes. Growing on the southwest slopes of the Franklin Mountains, El Paso, Texas, in a broad arroyo in limestone. This is a very sunny, desert environment with open shrubs characteristic of the Chihuihuan Desert. Elevation is 4,200 feet. |
